Yes. You can cancel the monthly plan with one click in your Account — it expires at the end of the current period and we won't charge you the following month. An annual plan runs out at the end of the paid year (no automatic refunds).

Yes, all displayed prices include 21% VAT (the Czech standard rate). During signup you can enter your company ID and VAT number for a business invoice — VAT will be itemised on the invoice as the tax rate.

For the first 14 days you can return your subscription with no reason given — write to support@racem8.com and we'll send the money back within 7 business days. After 14 days the standard cancel flow applies (we don't refund the current period, but the subscription won't continue into the next one).

Yes. At sign-up or later in your Account, fill in your company ID, VAT number and company address. The invoice arrives by email within 24 hours of payment and all past invoices are downloadable under Account → Billing.

Manually for now: cancel your current tier and pick a new one once the period expires. A full upgrade flow with pro-rated billing (you'd only pay the difference) is on the roadmap, but it isn't a priority — most pilots pick the right tier the first time.

The karting season runs roughly March to October (8 months). Annual plan = 6× monthly price → you effectively pay for only 6 months and use the app all year. It isn't a discount gimmick, just an honest reflection of the fact that nobody races in winter.

Visa, Mastercard, American Express. Payments are processed by Revolut Merchant, so you get the same security as with any other major payment gateway. We'll be adding Apple Pay and Google Pay over time.

From a Czech IP address, prices display in CZK, from other countries in EUR. The currency is locked at first checkout — even if you move, renewals continue in the chosen currency.

Automatically at the end of the current period. A week before renewal you'll get a reminder by email. If you don't want to continue, just cancel in your Account — that stops the renewal, though you'll pay out the current period.

Racebox is an external GPS+IMU logger (5 Hz, high accuracy) that mounts on the kart. The Pro tier supports it, but we don't sell it — you buy it separately (~3,000 CZK / ~120 EUR). If you don't have a Racebox, Pro still gives you access to Racelab and the iPhone phone-logger.

A mobile app with advanced telemetry — it uses the iPhone's GPS and accelerometer to capture lap data without external hardware. Works from iPhone 11 onwards. Available on Pro and higher tiers. Hobby tier only supports GoPro.

Hobby is capped at 20 GoPro sessions per month. If you go over, further uploads will let you know you need to upgrade. Your existing data stays — no deletion, no hard stop.

Synth = a synthetically generated optimal lap built from your real data. Our solver calculates what would happen if you braked, accelerated and took apexes ideally. Coach tier gets 10 requests per month (each request = an analysis of one session that returns 10 different synth variants).

The coach sees aggregated track data (typical braking points, typical apex speeds, common mistakes) across pilots who have opted in. No identifying data, no individual laps. It helps the coach see what's standard and what's a specific problem for their own pilot.

Per individual pilot, no — the Team tier covers up to 10 pilots with Pro features in one bundle. If you have 11 pilots, take Team + 1× Pro or ask us about custom terms at support@racem8.com.

The Experiment tab in Racelab lets you tweak solver parameters (curvature weights, braking penalties, kart preset) and see how the resulting optimal lap would change. Available only on Team and Team+ — it's a power tool for race engineers.

Sign-up plus your first lap takes under 5 minutes. You register, pick a track, drag-and-drop your first session and within a minute you have an AI brief. If you have an Alfano archive, we support it natively.

Yes. Alfano ZIP archives are supported from the Hobby tier upward (drag-and-drop upload, automatic lap-by-lap parsing). The Pro tier adds Racelab for visual analysis and comparison against the ideal racing line.

Today we have around 40 verified European karting circuits (Cheb, Wackersdorf, Lonato, Sosnová, Bandaragama, …). If your track isn't in the library, send us a GPS centerline and we'll add it for free within a week. Free tier sees one chosen track from the library; higher tiers see them all.

Send a request via Account → Tracks → "Add track" or by email to support@racem8.com. GPS start/finish coordinates or an Alfano archive with 3 laps is enough — we'll reconstruct the centerline and barriers from that. Adding a track is free and done within a week.

The iOS app (Phone Logger) is available to Pro+ pilots — it records laps directly on the track and syncs over WiFi. The Android app is in alpha testing. The web app works on mobile and tablet for reviewing data — desktop is recommended for Racelab given the size of the data panels.

Yes. Alfano archives from past seasons, GoPro videos with GPS, Phone Logger recordings — no time limit. Session history stays even after a subscription cancellation (read-only access) — you won't lose your personal bests.

Your data is used primarily to run the app for you — analysing your laps, AI briefs, comparing against the ideal line. The Coach tier has access to aggregated, anonymised track statistics, but only if you've explicitly given consent in Settings. The default is opt-out.

Your laps are seen only by you, your coach (if you're linked in a team), your parent (if you have parent linkage) and Racem8 admin for support. No lap is shared publicly without your consent. If you want to share (for example on a forum thread), you have to tick "Public" separately.

Yes. Account → Export — you get a ZIP with CSVs of all your laps, JSON of all your briefs, and metadata (PBs, sessions). GDPR right to portability — free, any time, within 24 hours.

Subscription cancel → your data stays read-only for 90 days (in case you reactivate). Full account deletion = email us or click Account → Danger zone → "Delete account". Deletion is permanent within 30 days, GDPR-compliant.

When you opt in, the identifying layer (user_id, name, kart) is stripped from your laps. What's left is pure telemetry (speed, acceleration, GPS points) with a random hashed UUID. The coach sees a distribution across the track, not individual laps. You can opt out at any time — your historical data drops out of the aggregate immediately.

The Coach tier is for freelance coaching with 2 pilots. If you have more, upgrade to Team (10 pilots) or ask us about a custom Coach+ tier.

Yes. Every pilot under a Team licence can have up to 2 parents connected (Parent role) at no extra cost. A parent only sees their own pilot — no access to team data of other pilots.

Yes, on Team tier. Custom logo, primary colour (shown in the Pitwall, on briefs, in parent-views), short name for the paddock display. A custom domain (yourteam.racem8.com) is available on Team+.

Yes — Pitwall is designed for a paddock-screen display (full-bleed, no controls). It works at 720p; we recommend 1080p or higher and 32" upward. Connect via Chrome in kiosk mode, sign in with a dedicated screens@racem8.com account that we create for you during team setup.

Yes. If you want your own affiliate code, contact support@racem8.com. The default commission is 20% of attributed revenue (lifetime, for pilots you've referred), paid quarterly via Revolut transfer. Your dashboard lives at /affiliate.

The Team+ base price (199.9 €/mo) doesn't include on-site days — those are billed separately (500 €/day excl. travel). What is included in Team+: priority support, custom integrations with your existing stack, a dedicated engineer for architecture calls. You book on-site days as needed (typically race-day weekends).
